Optic Cuts
We do sell several of the Holosun Optic models. Click here to go to the Optic page to see what we offer.
We need your optic in hand when making the cut if it is for a Trijicon RMR, Trijicon RMRcc, Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Vortex Defender ST/XL, Burris Fastfire and Romeo 1. We do not have to have the other optics but you can send it if you would like it to be mounted before shipping the slide back.
Most Optic cut on M&P will remove the factory rear dovetail. It will require a new Glock style rear dovetail cut behind or in front of the optic if you wish to have a rear sight. The mini optic cut options like the Holosun K models, RMSc and Romeo Zero must retain the rear dovetail.
Deltapoint Pro, Burris Fastfire, Vortex Venom cuts must remove factory rear dovetail on Glocks. If you would like a new rear dovetail in front of the optic on a Glock, you must add that to your order here.
All optic cuts except the Deltapoint Pro, Romeo Pro and RMRCC will use #6-32 screws. We will provide new screws for most optic cuts. With the Deltapoint Pro, Romeo Pro, RMRcc and Holosun 507C/407C/508T, you will use the screws that come with those optics from the factory.
Trijicon RMR, Burris Fastfire, Holosun 507c/407c, Vortex Defender ST/XL, Vortex Venom and Vortex Viper cuts will have recoil post milled into the cut. All other optic cuts will NOT have recoil post milled into the cut.
Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507c/407c, Vortex Viper, Holosun 507k/407k, Romeo Zero, Shield Optic RMSc, Swampfox Sentinel and Riton MPRD cuts on a Glock can be done without removing the rear dovetail OR cut over factory rear dovetail and add a new dovetail in front of the optic. If you choose to remove the factory rear dovetail and would like a new rear dovetail in front of the optic on a Glock, you must add that to your order here.
If you have a Holosun EPS or EPS Carry, choose the Holosun K model cut.
If you have a Swampfox Sentinel or Riton MPRD, choose the Holosun K model cut. List the model you have in the notes section at checkout so we can send the proper screws.
The slide will be raw metal after the cuts and will need to be refinished in some way. You are more than welcome to handle the refinishing but I wanted to make sure you were aware of that. If it is only an optic cut and we are not handling refinishing, we will not media blast the slide.
